About

After an incredible tour through WA, BRUCE returns to where it all began… The Blue Room.

Since his debut in 2014, this fan-favourite from Tim Watts & Wyatt Nixon-Lloyd has delighted audiences all over the world and now the two-man, one sponge, epic adventure comes back to Perth in what will be a home-coming season like no other.

From the creator of the international smash hit The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer comes a new low-fi puppetry spectacular. After Tim Watts’ last two Helpmann Award nominated shows (The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer and It’s Dark Outside) performed to sold out crowds and rave reviews all over the world, Watts has teamed up with Nickelodeons’ Wyatt Nixon-Lloyd for the debut of BRUCE.

BRUCE is a loveable screw-up; he’s got one last shot at redemption but, with a lifetime of regrets hunting him down, he’s running out of space-time. Created and performed by Wyatt Nixon-Lloyd and Tim Watts, this sidesplitting story is unapologetic in its minimal approach. BRUCE is a non-stop rollercoaster of action, adventure and nostalgia.

He may be just a floating block of yellow foam, but BRUCE is out to prove he’s got a heart of pure gold. These exceptionally skilled puppeteers bring BRUCE to life as we witness the incredible comedic story of his life as a self-proclaimed hero-cop turned novelist-astronaut.

BRUCE is available for touring anywhere internationally. Please contact our Producer at georgia@thelastgreathunt.com
