One-Year Opportunity with The Last Great Hunt
We’re looking for someone in WA’s arts sector who is excited by collaborative practice, collective thinking, and non-hierarchical ways of working.
As our Director of Operations, Jac Low, steps into a one-year secondment with Community Arts Network in 2026, we’re inviting a skilled arts professional to collaborate with us - contributing your expertise while working collectively with the Hunters over a one-year engagement commencing in January 2026.
We’re looking for someone with experience in at least two of these areas: arts management or arts administration (running programs, projects or teams), operations or organisational coordination (managing systems, processes or workflows), and finance, budgeting or project reconciliation (overseeing budgets, reporting or compliance).
This role sits across multiple collaborative circles at The Last Great Hunt (governance & compliance, finance, people matters, clubhouse, and vision & culture). You’ll work closely with us driving operations, budgeting, and reporting.
We recognise the under-representation of First Nations people, people with disability and BIPOC in the arts. If you bring strong industry experience in at least two of these areas - arts management or arts administration, operations or organisational coordination or finance and budgeting and have excellent attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you.
If you enjoy working collaboratively, helping make sense of shared ideas, and keeping things running smoothly through good systems, we’d love to talk to you.
We’re trying a different recruitment approach…
We are all busy so no written selection criteria, and no lengthy application process.
Step 1: Book a 20 min call with Jac to chat about your interest and experience before Friday 12 December
Step 2: The booking confirmation will request you to email your CV - please send through before the scheduled call
Step 3: Interviews will be scheduled for shortlisted applicants between Tuesday 16 and Thursday 18 December
